Some quick tips to ensure you are getting the best from your database searches.
- Start by searching on your primary SURNAME.
- Browse the Summary display to identify individuals you are interested in.
- Take note of any alternative spellings.
- Narrow your search using SURNAME, Given Names.
- After investigating names based on your 'correct' SURNAME, use the _ or * wildcards to search for alternative spellings.
- When using wildcards always carefully scan the Summary display for unexpected spellings.
If for any reason you wish to view every Will in the database in Summary format, simply enter any letter into the search box, wait for the database to respond, then delete the letter from the search box.
